I think these will stand up very well over time. Theyre comfortable and the sole & heal are rubberized to maintain traction. I wore them to work all day with ease. Most Artisans are 1/2-1 full size larger meaning I have to buy a 9W these are true to fit and almost a half-size smaller so a 10W just fits. Ill need to wear thin socks. The heel is not too high so it doesnt force my foot forward which is a plus. The boots are a little stiff through the ankle so dont wear these out on a long walk on your first outing. Wear them in a bit to be sure your walk is pain-free. I wore them for about 20 minutes and realized Id never make it all day in them so i ran back up to my hotel room and changed into tennis shoes for the day. Better comfy than stylish. These boots fit well and are comfortable. I chose to up a size in order to wear thicker socks. Enjoying their waterproof feature in the winter weather. Very pleased with my choice.

I LOVE CLARK SHOES. I OWN THIS PAIR AND ANOTHER ANKLE BOOT, WHICH WAS MORE EXPENSIVE AND MAYBE A BIT MORE COMFORTABLE. BUT FOR THE PRICE, THIS IS A GOOD BUY. THEY ARE PRETTY WITH SKIRT OR PANTS, NICE LOOKING BUCKLE, A BIT NARROW IN THE TOE BUT THEY HAVE LOOSENED UP SINCE I GOT THEM. THE BLACK SUEDE IS VERY ATTRACTIVE. A NICE, VERSATILE BOOT TO BE WORN IN GOOD WEATHER.
