When delivery person called to me and said he has parcel for me I thought its some kind mistake. Because I purchased only two days ago. But it wasnt mistake it was my shoes. When I opened the box. I usually wear a 9 - 9. 5 but since earlier reviews suggested ordering 1/2 size smaller than your usual size I ordered the 8. 5 Medium. They fit snugly at first but after a few days of wearing they stretched out. I now think I should have ordered the 8 Medium. Also the Medium width is rather wide. In fact the shoe itself is quite wide when seen from the top---sort of like small clown shoes. They seem well made but look clunky and lack any kind of style at all. Too bad I wore them to work that first day because now I cant return them. If this pair of shoes wears out I will not buy the same shoe again.

I have had a pair of these slip-ons for 2 years: they are my favorite pair of shoes:1) they are very comfortable. I have flat feet and take a Wide size. These do not bind on the top of my foot nor hurt the arch nor bind across the forefoot. The are very comfortable to wear.2) My feet perspire and these shoes help them breathe. Some people's feet don't perspire, some do; these really help my feet stay comfortable in that respect. (You can't put shoe powder in these or it blows out the holes).3) As recommended order a 1/2 size smaller; my guess is they are designed a little longer/wider in order to get the air to circulate. When first put on you might think "maybe too big?" but it becomes quite comfortable. That said, if you are an undercover police officer who at any moment may have to break into a full run to catch a bad guy these may not be tight enough for you.4) order a pair and put them on: you can always return them (God bless Amazon's customer service). You may very well like them mucho.

I love Clarks shoes and these are no exception. They look very nice, slip on easily and are very comfortable to wear. I have a few other Clarks styles (slip on and lace up) and these are one of my favorite.
